6PAK Nutrition Glutamine – an excellent pre-workout formula! Find out why!
Glutamine is the most abundant intercellular and intracellular free amino acid in the human body. It is an example of the versatility of amino acid metabolism. In a 2015 scientific publication, the authors (Stehle, Kuhn) reported that glutamine plays a key role in the metabolism of nitrogen, protein and energy . This amino acid transports nitrogen between cells and / or organs and serves as metabolic fuel (in addition to glucose or as an alternative). In addition, this article shows that glutamine is a precursor to the synthesis of proteins , nucleotides and nucleic acids, and also regulates cellular pathways and functions related to them. It is worth emphasizing that glutamine is of fundamental importance for nitrogen exchange throughtransport of ammonia between tissues and thus influence pH homeostasis.
Glutamine and muscle – a scientific article that extensively describes glutamine (Cruzat, Rogero et al., 2018) shows that its availability and metabolism in the body are directly related to skeletal muscle tissue. Skeletal muscle is quantitatively the most important site for glutamin stoage, synthesis and release, and therefore plays a fundamental role in glutamine metabolism. The intramuscular glutamine content corresponds to 50-60% of the total amount of free amino acids in the skeletal muscle tissue. About 80% of the glutamine in the body is found in skeletal muscle . Cruzat and Rogero in their publication also reported that glutamine may have antioxidant and cytoprotective properties(i.e., protective), which is associated with the ability to modulate protective responses . This may be especially important in situations of high catabolism . As you know, high-intensity exercise is also catabolic.
6PAK Nutrition Glutamine – addition of vitamin B6 and taurine
Vitamin B6 – it is not without significance to enrich the product for use before and after training with vitamin B6. This vitamin contributes to the maintenance of proper energy metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and weariness . Importantly, it also contributes to the maintenance of proper protein and glycogen metabolism . In addition to these valuable properties, vitamin B6 helps in the proper functioning of the immune and nervous systems , as well as in maintaining proper psychological functions . It also contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity and helps in the proper production of red blood cells .
Taurine – is a non-protein amino acid that is generally present in animal tissues. It is estimated that on average a person weighing 70 kg will have about 70 g of taurine in their body. In a 2015 scientific review of taurine in the Molecular Vision journal, authors (Ripps, Shen) discuss how it works. This article shows that taurine has many functions in the central nervous system ; it is a modulator of the activity of neurons. It also shows antioxidant activity and exhibits cytoprotective properties , i.e. it shows the ability to protect cells against the harmful effects of various factors.
Recommended consumption / preparation method:
Mix 3/4 scoops of powder (5 g) with 200 ml of water. Consume 1 serving twice a day: before training and immediately after training. Use on training days.
